Girls' Generation

The other day I was on YouTube looking for music to listen to while I did my maths revision. I decided to listen to some Girls' Generation. Only because I had recently watched this music video for Baby Metal...a Japanese metal girl group and it reminded me of how much I like KPop. I know Japanese and Korean are two totally different places and languages but whatever.
So I typed Girls' Generation into YouTube and I found a video of their second Japan concert and I decided to watch/listen to it.
The thing was two and a half hours long. I will post it below.

I didn't like watch it all in one go or anything I kind of stopped and kept coming back to it but I got through the entire thing.
I don't know what it is about it but it was actually kind of amazing.
Like okay I read comments and a lot of people were saying they lip sync and all this other stuff but honestly I didn't care. I mean not everyone can do a two and a half hour concert with about two minute breaks so they can change costume.
Not that I know...but I have never been to a concert before so I don't know.
Anyway...I have to say that I can't tell the difference between Japanese and Korean. Mostly because when they were talking and not singing they were talking in Japanese, didn't know that until someone commented below that they speak good Japanese haha.
Also they sang a couple of songs in Japanese and to me they sounded the same as the Korean. Apart from Run Devil Run. I knew the difference with that one because I really like Run Devil Run and own the Korean version so I knew the difference there.
But yes the whole thing was pretty amazing. Like the arena they preformed in was HUGE. I would not want to be sitting at the back for that concert. I know there were big screens but they didn't show a lot.
I liked how when they went to change their costumes they had little video things that were shown on the screens. While I thought they were a little strange and I didn't know the relevance at all I thought it was a nice distraction for them to change.
Another thing about the arena, I mean they had everything going, lights, water, confetti at some points. You just don't get that at concerts over here so I was impressed haha.
One thing I noticed is they do favourite about four girls over the rest to sing parts in the songs. Either that was the time I chose to look at the screen or what but I swear some of the girls definitely had more singing parts than others.
Which makes sense for a group so big but you know...even out the parts a little more.
So yeah, in conclusion I liked the concert, I would totally go to their concert if they had one here.
You do not need to speak the language to like the music. At least I don't think you do.
After I watched the concert I did download some more of their songs. I typically like the upbeat ones because they are the catchiest.
So yes, Girls' Generation.
I don't know what it is about them I like so much in particular I mean they were the first KPop group I liked after Psy...and I only like Psy for that one song - we all only liked Psy for that one song haha.
Anyway yeah...the only reason I would want to learn Korean or anything is probably just to know what the songs were saying. Plus if you learn the language you would probably be able to sing the songs better than just mumbling the Korean parts and belting the English part which I am sure we have all done at one point in our lives haha.
So in conclusion...I probably prefer music in other parts of the world to the music over here most of the time. I mean after the Selfie song made it big I think we all lost some hope in our music industry...

Isla Paradiso

So I started a new Sims 3 save game in Isla Pardiso
Let's just say I'm really obsessed....
Anyway I'd like you to meet my sims!

Christina and Skyler Isles. Christina is the mother and Skyler is the child.
I wanted to play in Isla Paradiso because I saw the trailer and I thought it looked amazing. I mean I have all the expansion packs and stuff but I wasn't sure which world I wanted to play in next so I chose this one. I gave them a house boat and everything.

Unfortunately due to the world being huge, and my graphics all turned to high...sometimes the game will freeze. Like the entire thing will freeze for a few seconds and then continue. I know the best solution would be to turn down my graphics but I don't want to. One because the game looks amazing with super high graphics and two....it would be sad to lose the amazing clarity of the water haha.

I chose for Christina to have the lifeguard job because it seemed like the best one to go for. I also turned off all of the super natural creatures and disabled all seasons apart from summer, I thought these might stop the game freezing as often and also it makes sense because we're on islands to have it sunny all the time.

Anyway I try to play as Skyler more than Christina because I haven't really played the other age groups apart from young adult and adult which is normal for me playing Sims.

As well as being on a house boat, being a lifeguard and such I opened a resort because that also looked like fun. It was kind of hard to get a rating at first but once you started getting the rating up, it really didn't take long to get the five star rating...

Final, and most random point. I decided Skyler should put a booby trap on the computer and it turns out - thanks to Generations - you can get screamers in the Sims 3. And I know this sounds weird but that face actually looks creepier to me than the actual screamer face.

I think it's just me that thinks that haha.

Anyway yeah, that's what I'm doing on Sims other than my let's play. I thought I would do some blogging about Sims rather than make videos all the time. Which is like Animal Crossing because I blog about it  as well as make videos and blogging doesn't take as long as making videos.

But yeah I don't know, something else to blog about other than TV shows I  guess haha.

Shane Dawson Movie!

Shane's movie is a go!
I am so excited!
I mean I have loved Shane since...2011. Yeah I know long time ago haha. Basically I saw him in an iJustine vlog once and then I became obsessed.
Back then I was like 13 and so really Shane was inappropriate although not really, I mean if you have that kind of sense of humour you have it. Is it so wrong to laugh at inappropriate jokes? Well Shane's are often really offensive but he says it in such a way it's not really haha.
Anyway...I saw him tweet about how you can sign up for emails about his new movie. And so I did that shit.

Like why wouldn't you want to sign up for it?

I'm excited because it's something that Shane has always wanted to do and he is finally able to do it. I mean hearing about all that stuff he went through before in his life about being poor and then getting fired from Jenny Craig didn't hold him back and I think that's amazing.

Plus he's a regular person, and not a celebrity.

I mean people always act like celebrities are totally different from us because they kind of are but Shane's pretty real. Mostly because when he vlogs and stuff you see him being him, and he's just being who he is and he's allowed to. Most celebrities can't get away with doing certain things due to their public image but not Shane haha.

Anyway yeah he's pretty great. And I am looking forward to this movie and what will happen.

I wish I had more to say but I can't even think of anything haha.

How I Met Your Mother Finale

This isn't going to be pretty.
So I was on Facebook and I saw Gossip Cop had said that the fans of How I Met Your Mother weren't reacting well to the finale so I decided to read the article.
Now if you haven't watched the finale, please stop watching as soon as Ted says "And that kids, is how I met your mother."
JUST STOP RIGHT THERE.
Because after that..
I mean...
Oh God...
Like really...there are so many things I didn't like about the ending and it's not just the actual end of it.
One of the big things was Barney and Robin.
I mean this WHOLE SEASON we have been preparing for their wedding and we have been excited to see them together because they went through so much to finally get to this point...you know I really shipped them, they were so good.
And then they get divorced.
Literally like half an hour after they got married in the last episode they end up getting divorced. I seriously hated that. I mean if you were going to make the whole of season nine a big deal about their wedding then they should have lasted longer than an episode.
I know in hypothetical terms it's meant to be three years later but when you watch the last few episodes in a row because you don't want to believe what you read, they were seriously only married for about two minutes. That's how I felt.
And then the way they kept fast forwarding through the years...it was kind of nice but I feel like it went too fast, it was rushed and they didn't really do the aging thing very well..
The one thing I will say is that when Barney held his love child and said those things he did, that was a really sweet moment. But I really expected things for Barney to change way more than that.
As for Marshall and Lily...I can't really complain, their fate was sealed. I mean they were always going to end up living a good life no matter where they were headed.
But then Robin just disappeared for like most of that and it really bugged me that she suddenly became famous and forgot all about her friends. Although I guess it happens after you divorce one of them and almost ended up with another one.
It's just one of those things that could have been done way better.
AND THEN we get to the part where they talk about the mother, she dies!
WHAT WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!
You wait NINE seasons to meet this woman and she doesn't even have a happy ending? I mean the show is called How I Met Your Mother, and so that's the part we wanted to know!
It was a plot twist and because it's April Fools day I was kind of hoping that things didn't end the way people said they did and it was some kind of joke...no.
The mother dies and then the kids talk about how Ted should totally go out with Aunt Robin,
ROBIN.
I mean what can I really say about that?
Not a lot.
I just find it so sad because after everything that happened I thought that when Ted met the mother - I know I should have looked up her name but what does that matter? She died! - that that would be it. He met the mother, they had kids, it was amazing they also lived happily ever after like Marshall and Lily.
Nope.
Ted has to end up with Robin.
I mean I guess if they had done the series in a totally different way I would be happy with that ending.
But they didn't.
Like I guess they tried to make it funny but I wasn't feeling it. I mean it just wasn't done in a good way.
And I thought Glee was bad last week...
But seriously, I did like Ted and Robin together, and I thought that if they were going to get together then she would have ended up being the mother.
I seriously did think that Robin and Barney had a chance, but obviously they didn't which made this entire last season seem totally pointless.
Please tell me that I am not the only one that feels this way?
Like I know everyone always compared Friends to How I Met Your Mother, well they definitely can't say that anymore. Friends had a great ending. This...this was just...ugh. Not what I thought it would be.
In my head the show will just always have ended with the words "That's how I met your mother."
Because the rest was just terrible in my opinion anyway...I'm just saying, we waited nine seasons for that...
