10th Anniversary of Mean Girls!

I know this was yesterday but I didn't get a chance to write about it.
Did you wear pink?
Did you sit with us?
I love Mean Girls.
I mean if you don't then who are you? Why don't you like it? Do you live under a rock?
It's hard to believe that something that was made 10 years ago is still relevant to this day.
I mean Girl World is still a very real place and at the end of the day I think we are "Mean Girls". Hell, this past two years seem to have been a real eye opener for me. I mean we are all bitchy when we want to be and we all talk about one another and we all...are as bad as each other.
No one can honestly say they stand above the rest because we are all the same. And what makes it worse is when people act like they aren't.
Please just accept where you are in the world and take responsibility for what you have done, if not karma will get you and you will get hit by a bus.
No I'm totally kidding.
I tried to make as many Mean Girls references as possible yesterday. I made a solid 7. That's not a lot but there aren't a lot you can just fit into regular conversation. At least there weren't really for me yesterday.
Here's what I got into everyday conversation:

  1. "You can only wear your hair in a ponytail once a week" - my friend had a pink hair bobble and she was going to tie her hair up but she did that yesterday.
  2. "Oh my God, I love your bracelet where did you get it?" - the same friend then put the hair bobble on her wrist as a bracelet
  3. "You can't sit with us!" - lunch time, you know the rules hahaha
  4. "Boo, you whore" - one of my friends was sick and didn't come to school today
  5. "On Wednesdays we wear pink" - obvious haha
  6. "You should sit over there with the art freaks" - one of my friends didn't own anything pink
  7. "And none for Gretchen Wieners bye." - I had mail but my brother did not
I think I did well haha. I could have made more I mean I was so tempted to yell in maths "THE LIMIT DOES NOT EXIST" but I think I would have gotten looks.
But I followed the rules, I wore pink, I didn't wear jeans or track pants, I didn't have my hair in a ponytail either. It sounds crazy but hey, why not?
Of course I watched Mean Girls yesterday too.
When I saw that YouTube trailer for the 10 year anniversary I had hoped it was real because it looked amazing but it wasn't....so that makes me sad.
I feel like we need something better since Mean Girls 2 was the worst movie in history.
Anyway it was a good day and so.....yes....
I wish I had more to say but I really don't.
And so...I leave you with this:
FOUR FOR YOU GLENN COCO YOU GO GLENN COCO
